In 2024, the nearly 1 million people involved in the Dakila Ecosystem have come together to further advance the boundaries of scientific discovery in support of our mission. The well-being of our associates, collaborators and enthusiasts has continued to be our driving force in this year that is coming to an end.
Being at the forefront of the search for the application of emerging and disruptive technologies to improve people’s lives, our Ecosystem has built strategic partnerships with industry leaders – in several countries and in several areas – and has adopted the technologies resulting from these partnerships to be able to offer the most advanced forms of amenities for everyday life in this nebulous period in Brazil and the world; the flying car is one of the best examples of this.
2024 was a year of many discoveries, but also one of many challenges.
To advance humanity to the next level, we need to invest large amounts of capital to equip ourselves with the latest research technology and to take our researchers where they should be: in empirical field research.
Significant amounts of resources were invested this year in transportation and fuel, accommodation and food, and various technologies (such as LIDAR), among others. These were vectors of total detachment of significant resources by our companies; but it was all worth it given the results obtained.
The Dakila Ecosystem and its partners have developed several cutting-edge technologies this year.
Given the undeniable success of our researchers, we have been invited to establish several partnerships with public and private entities, both national and international, in order to expand our partner networks and bring knowledge, which is our guiding force, to more and more people.
To ensure that our operations fully incorporate the modernization we are advocating for next year, all of our business management processes have been renewed to increase our agility, response speed and national and international competitiveness. All the learning from this year will serve to further drive the Dakila Ecosystem’s advancement within the Triple Helix of Innovation in Brazil and worldwide.
2025 will be the year to accelerate our ventures and research.
The strong performance of our companies this year reflects the close partnership with our associates and collaborators, who recognize all the difficulties of undertaking in the economic and fiscal arena that we are facing. In line with this, they also understand that generating technologies on the Global Technological Frontier is a huge effort that requires not only capital resources, but, above all, a lot of serenity and patience from them.
As we explained in our grand Field Activities, next year we will advance and expand our research and production capacities to meet the growing demand for our products and services, with special attention to BDM. In particular, the cutting-edge technologies that we have developed indigenously will optimize our internal operations and improve the relationship with our partners.
But none of this would be possible without those who really matter.
Our growth would not be possible, however, without the continued support of our associates, our employees, our partners and without the remarkable work and dedication of our entire team in Brazil and around the world. You all made this year one of the best in our history, even in the face of so many difficulties.
Thank you all very much and have a happy new year. May 2025 bring you all the knowledge you long for and deserve.
These are the sincere wishes of Urandir Fernandes de Oliveira and the Board of Directors of the Dakila Ecosystem.
